The SYL-X online store is hosted by Shopify Inc., a Canadian company registered on the TSX and NYSE under number 426160-7, whose head office is located at 151 O'Connor Street Ground Floor, Ottawa, Ontario K2P 2L8 Canada, and whose cookie policy applies to the SYL-X store website.

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the specific web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and your interaction with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

COOKIES Here is a list of cookies that we use. We have listed them here so that you can choose whether to allow them or not.

• session_id, unique session identifier, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
• shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits.
• shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day. Calculates the number of visits to a store by a unique customer.
• cart, unique identifier, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about your shopping cart.
• secure_session_id, unique session identifier
• storefront_digest, unique identifier, not set if the store is password protected, used to determine if the current visitor has access.
• “Log files” track activity on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
• “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files that record information about how you browse the Site.

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers or information from other payment methods you may use), email address, and phone number. This automatically-collected information is referred to as "Order Information."

When we use the term “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are referring to both Device Information and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

• The right of access: they can exercise their right of access to know the personal data concerning them. In this case, before implementing this right, the SYL-X website may request proof of the User's identity to verify its veracity.

Evolution of this Clause

The SYL-X website reserves the right to make any changes to this personal data protection clause at any time. If a change is made to this personal data protection clause, the SYL-X website undertakes to publish the new version on its website. The SYL-X website will also inform the User of the change by e-mail, at least 15 days before the effective date. If the User does not agree with the terms of the new wording of the personal data protection clause, he/she has the option of deleting his/her account.

SMS AND NOTIFICATIONS

By subscribing to SMS notifications, you consent to receive marketing text messages from us via your phone number. This is not a required step to make a purchase. You can text STOP, NO, N, REJECT to unsubscribe at any time. Message and data rates may apply.

SECURITY AND PRIVACY

The SYL-X website implements organizational, technical, software and physical digital security measures to protect personal data against alteration, destruction and unauthorized access.
